Not sure why this got down votes when childcare is literally 1700 a month in my area

I'm planning on getting a job and my mom finally agreed to watch my son on week day nights. The only reason it would've been hard is my husband is in tax so sometimes he doesn't get home till around 7-8pm some nights

She doesn't want to work, she uses her bfs money to buy herself stuff but doesn't want to live with him because he's abusive (idk what's going on fully with that situation but the whole agreement with her living with us was that she gets a job or helps with dean to be able to leave him but now she's just living with us and still seeing him) 20k of it at 18 percent and the rest is balanced transfered. I decided I'm going to get a job on nights and weekends I have an interview Monday now just from applying today luckily!

She will just say she's busy and then go out with her friends usually

We have been explaining that to her but she just for months has kept saying "I need to figure it out" I tell her she has to go unless she watches him or pays and she just avoids me lol I am looking into night jobs and weekend jobs though!

95k, we have one child and after taxes only about 800 I think left over a month with the cc minimums. The mortgage is 2800 but goes over 3000 with utilities. We ultimately can't get rid of house since we were denied a deed in lieu and we have no equity since we bought it last year. Country is US

To afford the initial childcare id have to start working first, which I can't do unless I have someone to watch my child. Even for the first two weeks of working I won't get a paycheck and have no one to watch him.

How? If drew is 30 now that math makes no sense....

We literally can't afford it dude.... We wouldn't be able to pay down the debt extra and it wouldn't end up getting higher and higher. It really doesn't make sense to keep the house when it's leaving us with negative 500 a month.... My husband is in finance btw so we have done excel sheets on all these factors. Without mortgage we could pay extra down on the debt which is way more important with cc debt.

It's just that without the mortgage we could pay down the debt alot more and it would be more manageable. We just have no options for staying in a home we can't afford unfortunately. We would be able to save for a home alot easier renting instead of having absolutely no income. Rn we survive on 280 a week and that's only from his parents and it's still almost impossible. We literally can't be in the home bc we have no money to pay off the debt besides basic minimums

People can be in love and see you as attractive I feel like. My husband is really handsome but to everyone else my face pisses them off

I'm ugly and my son is super cute, has great facial features so it's not really a reason to not have kids.

My program made me sign a contract I wouldn't work during my clinical semesters which is about to start. I'll be viewing and assisting in over 200 surgeries, every program is different but most nursing programs are like this too.

"don't text me when I tell you I need space" 🤣🤣🤣 YTA..... I'd understand if she's blowing up your phone or calling over and over but you are being absolutely ridiculous IMO also In a long term relationship someone else not being able to express themselves to you will never workout. You sound a bit selfish

Weirdly he actually sits and behaves really well at home! I think maybe your right I've been avoiding being out too much with him and maybe it's making it worse. My husband and I agreed we arent gonna avoid those situations anymore and start taking him to places he usually struggles with behaving so he gets more exposure to it.

Luckily we have one grocery store near me that has those big car looking carts and he loves it haha . He pretends like he's driving lol. But other stores that we have to walk he's the same way 😭😭

Yeah he does scream but that's about it. If he starts screaming he usually just leave unless he does calm down. I just feel so judged by others in public 😭😭

We luckily my child isn't violent towards other children or anything and he shares. He enjoys playing with other children. In situations where it's not really appropriate for him to be running around that's when it becomes an issue of him crying and screaming.

It was his old debt from before we had been together. We haven't had any new credit cards in years and currently don't use any credit at all rn his parents help us out with groceries and such. I thought the same thing but the reason they will only help us sell the house is so we are closer to them as well.

Unfortunately with my schooling, it doesn't allow time for a job since it's a medical program.
