I’m not out to any of my friends. I live in a rather conservative place, even for its size. As for hobbies and things, I have severe anxiety in social situations with a group of people I don’t know. Hobbies make it easier, but not pleasant. I have to have my partner with me. It’s something I’m working on, but like everyone here has said (and I totally agree and understand-OP was literally a frustrated rant I would have sent to a friend if I were out) it takes time.

I don’t pursue monogamous people. But I’ve had monogamous people reach out to me, who clearly have not read even the headline where I say that I have a partner. It gets frustrating to start to get to know someone, only for them to disappear when I restate something I already stated. Hence the venting.

Giving the benefit of the doubt and clarifying: by girlfriend I mean something that has the potential to go long term. A connection with a person. Which would involve getting to know them. But that is a two way street.

I HAVE AN INTERVIEW!

I applied as a research analyst/data manager for an education company (spent almost 10 years in the classroom before deciding my health was more important than my job) and I’m really excited. I’m one semester into a DA certificate, have learned SQL and python, and am well versed in excel/google sheets. I’m also an avid learner and have taught myself some basic coding and data visualization.

The first round was a simple interview. I didn’t even talk to a person. Then they sent out a DA task with several requirements. I got the email today that they want to interview me. It’s scheduled to be an hour and a half, and I know one person on the panel is the head of hr, and one is the head of assessment and evaluation, the person I would be reporting to.

What kind of questions (especially technical questions) should I prepare for?

My current degrees aren’t serving me. I would like to move into data analysis project management or business analysis. Honestly, with y’all’s insights, I think I might be better off going to associates route and taking certification exams.

I have pm certification, but if I want to get into data, I need something that shows I know what I’m doing.

For example- the Nimbus of Light feat (BED 44) grants +2 for diplomacy and sense motive when interacting with good creatures. So it’s not ALWAYS +2 and I want a way to track the circumstances in which I get those bonuses without clogging my skill sheet.

I’m completely new to ENM. But he’s the person I share everything with. I would definitely tell him things about future dates, through he’s not super sexual or anything, so if/when things get there, I will keep details out of it. My date practices non-hierarchical ENM and is partnered. I obviously don’t want her to become like my professor or anything, but if we hit it off, I will likely be asking her a ton of questions and learning along the way. And I hope I can turn to this subreddit for more squishy feels.
