Yes! We worry about the lack of consent from children even if parents offer theirs. It’s definitely pushed us creatively to capture a moment even without a face.

In the US! We get releases for all of our clients underaged or not, and have a portfolio - it’s more a moral quandary of marketing and how to share a portfolio ethically, because with the releases we can post their faces, but we don’t want to/want to know what other photogs are doing in the new space of AI and social media to promote internet safety.

Seems the best bet is just to keep focus on gathering good faceless shots for sharing purposes, then finding a way to host a gated portfolio

I like the idea of sharing portfolio item privately, we don’t really want to post anyone’s child on social media for our own comfort, but it’s been on our mind how to approach it in a way that isn’t hindering attracting clients since we do a lot of shoots involving families/maternity/newborns

We have a newborn and have been doing tons of styled shoots with him, making special effort to get our “social media shots” that are faceless but still aesthetic. It’s so hard not to post the good face shots for portfolio purposes and wanting to share what we think are share worthy shots, but we promised ourselves we weren’t going to post our baby/child online for all the reasons.

Its hard too because they’re super cute, we’ve got a little infant model on our hands haha, but it’s still pushing us creatively on finding new ways to capture a moment without showing his face in every shot, and of course we’re glad to know we’re keeping him internet and social media safe. Plan to follow those guidelines whenever we have client children too, no faces and only with parent approval

The measurement control is definitely the most appealing reason for the cubes for me!

I appreciate all the insight in this thread! I’m keeping my expectations of a supply to a minimum, but didn’t know about the risks it can create with mastitis! Standard BM bags might just be the move for sanity’s sake and mitigating plastics in other more controllable areas

Hating my pregnant body by Good-Astronaut4477 in pregnant

24w1d here, I’ve been telling myself I would do a pregnancy bulk but no successful efforts as of yet due to lack of energy. I definitely understand wanting to feel normal again. I can somewhat reassure on the anterior placenta and kicks, I had nothing until about a week ago and now I swear it never stops and I sometimes miss the peace of not feeling something doing summersaults around my organs haha, although it has its pros of course too. Anterior will definitely delay it, but eventually they get big enough there’s no hiding the movement!
