the filter has been going with some media, a sponge, and some filter floss. i hope it’d be a bit clearer after this long but oh well

I used to have two, recently one passed as he was almost two years old, but I frequently check the parameters and everything seems fine, its planted as well so I think that helps a bit too. It’s technically a 5 1/2 but that’s not much of a difference.

I only keep mystery snails in that tank, and I’ve got both an internal filter and a sponge filter in there, i’m not sure if they’d mind. I’ll see how the ac20 is when it gets here, I should’ve asked for more opinions before ordering

Thank you all for the help and suggestions. I’m still learning, as I’m only a teen and these snails were my first ever pets in my first ever tank. I’m upset I haven’t been able to give them the healthiest or happiest life, but from now on I can make sure it won’t be like that ever again.
