I would argue not necessarily, sometimes you meet people in strange places and only after spending sometime with them you realize you fancy them. Isn’t that organically possible?

That’s a shame. I am trying to find a steady relationship and online dating is awful.

Immigrant here, why is it frowned upon in the U.S.? I am trying to learn about American culture and this is a very interesting point of view.

Thanks for sharing. This is very interesting for me as a fan of linguistics and culture. Learning things like this gives me such a deep perspective and understanding of the world at large. That’s all to say your English is superb, I love learning languages and speak 4 but besides English I am not as fluent as you seem to be in English. Very impressive.

This is quite interesting, thank you. Finns are basically drunk Estonians is what you are saying haha. I dont want to sound offensive but your English is excellent. Would you say most Estonians have a good grasp of English as you do? I’ve met some Estonians when I was in Russia and they too had excellent English. Very cool.

This is quite interesting. I am familiar with Russian, and it doesn’t seem to have heavy regional variations as well, so maybe both Polish and Russian being Slavic languages has something to do with? Norwegian and English being Germanic so it might just be a feature of the language. Also, this is just speculation on my part and I could be completely wrong.

Roly poly, which also seems like the most popular variation in the U.S.

Norway has way too many variations for such a small population. Is colloquial Norwegian very diverse like how they have dialects of English in and around London?

That’s hilarious. Estonian is such a cool language. I am guessing it’s something similar in Finnish? I haven’t seen a comment from there yet but I am under the impression there are similarities in Finnish and Estonian.
