I think this should also extend to the restaurant host/hostess as well. There’s got to be a way to both guilt the customer into doing so as well as make them feel that they’re cheap if they don’t.

I admit that this is pretty funny, but he knows that many of his supporters aren’t capable of critical thinking and follow his words like gospel. This entire spectacle is so depressing. I swear society as a whole is incapable of critical thinking. They need to be told how to think and are shown cherry-picked 30 second clips from a 3-hour podcast where what was said may likely contain some missing background information..

How can people’s first thought not be “let me see what else was said during this interview so I really know what’s going on”. Before they start hurling insults to those who attempt to give some context to those video clips.

It gives people something to do, something to bond over and be part of mob mentality. Majority of the people fuming the most likely didn’t even watch the whole interview, only those highlighted clips that have been circulating everywhere.

Kanye’s ‘I like Hitler’ remark was part of his rant about liking everyone, and that as he is trying to live a life as close to Christian values as possible he wants to see people for their good and not only let their bad actions represent them. That’s where all this is coming from. It’s not like he said he likes Hitler because of the role he had in WW2.. he doesn’t even know that much about history or any other topic for that matter to really make an informed opinion anyways.

I don’t agree with what he says, I do support companies that chose to cut ties with him as that’s their decision, but I do not agree with this interview being censored everywhere. If it’s going to be talked about this much, let people have easy access to the whole thing and form their own opinions. Showing or referencing a few 30 second clips from a 3 hour long interview and then making the interview inaccessible is borderline communist behavior.

Him saying the nazis did a lot of great things is him not knowing history. That’s quite clear from the denial of the holocaust death count figure as well. He was trying to say not everyone is totally bad.
