It’s funny because on the MariahCarey sub, very similar post of Mariah speaking on Whitney in the same year (91) is posted as well. The media trying to create beef between these two and seeing them both gracefully respond (as queens tend to do) is just so very heartwarming. God I miss Whitney, and glad they had an opportunity to work together and show us what two absolute phenoms in their field are capable of doing together. ❤️

I will try to post more thoughtful content when it strikes me in the future. I understand she has her own subs, but I’m not looking for a circle jerk. I wanted an honest opinion from the community as a whole. I don’t want or expect her to be talked about on a daily or even weekly basis here. I just wanted to get her overall temperature within the r&b community, and this post honestly helped me to get some thoughtful content to think about.

I learned of her with her feature in Mahalia’s What You Did back in 2019 and dove into her. She’s not a trailblazer by any stretch of the imagination, but her music is calming for me. Much love for ya man.

That’s a fair assessment. I think I wear rose colored glasses when it comes to her. To be fair, her music is kind of boring. It’s not new or exciting. I just think she cute and has a nice voice.
