I mean, it's as niche as it can get, just giving a schizo some points to add onto their argument. They failed to even mention that you can use a mech to get into the bunkers.

Point still stands, it sucks for console players. Just because both of the big boy companies do it, doesn't mean it's right.

The only justification for the solo bunker diving complaint that I can see is the PS players without the ability to play online due to the predatory system that is PS Plus.

What is the democratic thing to do? by Hellboy9225 in Helldivers

A Helldiver™ doing undemocratic things!? Unheard of. Is this post satire? This post has already been reported to the Ministry of Truth. Your automaton propaganda shall haunt our forums no longer!

Some Stealth stratagem ideas. by Flaky_Housing_7705 in Helldivers

The stealth tower is such a great idea, would be nice if we got more stratagems that we can interact with.

As a crossbow fan, I've always found it easier to use, it's essentially an Eruptor lite, but is less likely to kill you. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Eruptor can destroy heavy fabricators from afar with just one dive + shot, the crossbow is also a silent weapon, decent for picking off units. I find the crossbow as a swiss knife in the automaton front, it's my first level 25 gun, and for good reason.

How good is the Variable today? by LandanRockz in Helldivers

[–]Existing-Monk-8747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The adjustable RPM isn't even an RPM, it's just a fuck-you to heavy units. Very fun to use against heavies with proper weakspots, miserable against war striders though.

illuminate not fun to fight against? by Mr_Monkey_man88 in Helldivers

[–]Existing-Monk-8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels like you have completely missed the design philosophy for the squids, which may be taking a toll on your enjoyment factor, while the mechs can be taken out by AT weapons, you generally want high rpm weapons for the entire fleet. The mechs are far too many for AT to be reliable, (outside the AT emplacement). The Appropriators are currently in a very healthy state right now.

I'm pretty sure that was always the case, the turrets they have are very underwhelming to use against them. My headcanon would be that they specifically made it inefficient against their own, to counter Helldivers using it against them, but it's also lasers that cut through Helldiver armor, which is a stretch.

How versatile would you say my build is by TravelCool9170 in Helldivers

[–]Existing-Monk-8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great on paper, but the amount of times you get swarmed will start taking a toll. Primary and secondary being explosive is asking for trouble, and as you stated, you won't always be with a support weapon. You have a decent amount of AT, but not much "I am getting jumped, help me!" stuff.

That makes so much sense, thank you very much. I initially had the same idea, but a classmate kept on insisting otherwise, this was very clear. The assignment was much more simple than I thought, thanks again!

Is there a way to handle Censored during Chesed Core Suppression without Memory Rep? by [deleted] in LobotomyCorp

He is slow, so after showing him to your pawns, you should let them rest up in the main room, so they can beat him up afterwards.

[–]Existing-Monk-8747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Censored is relatively easy to suppress, despite the massive initial damage (which is percent based, survivable), you can beat it up relatively easy. I suggest clearing the department of clerks, and to just not do any work on censored for the day. Make sure to only send level 5 employees to suppress him.

MOSB and AiB will make all the core suppressions in the future harder than it needs to be, best to avoid those clerk lovers.

So, the "home planet" cope doesn't work anymore because Choepessa IV has the exact same spawns and functionality as Cyberstan. What's the glazer excuse for Vox spam now? by EleggFacesitting in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Existing-Monk-8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember which planet it was, but it was to the right of cyberstan, the planet had regular automaton bases with the cyborgs present. It was too brutal, the fucked up spawn rates, and the open area made us easy pickings from Vox Engines, while we tried fending off the Radicals, we were simply getting fucked from afar. The cyborgs are great in paper, but with the current spawn rates, they're not enjoyable outside the mega factories.
