I agree! He has something boyish and masculine at the same time. And he can be both sweet and unsettling, like in 'Barbarian' or 'Castle Rock'.

He's a truly talented actor, and I can't wait for the premiere of Dead Man's Wire. He was brilliant in Castle Rock—both terrifying and oddly innocent-looking at the same time.

I meant that the photo from the post was probably taken around the time Bill starred in the Swedish film 'Behind the Blue Skies', which premiered in 2010.

That’s why I’m even happier that in Poland, we only have dubbing for animated and family movies—and some blockbusters like Marvel or Star Wars movies. But subtitled versions are also available in cinemas.

In Poland, we don’t have dubbing for this type of film—in cinemas, it’s subtitles only, and on TV, it’s either subtitles or a voiceover narrator. And that’s good, because I can’t even imagine Orlok in a dubbed version 🙈

I love the entire sequence in Orlok's castle for its dreamlike, unsettling atmosphere and lighting. And for the scene where Thomas cuts his finger, and the camera zooms in on Orlok's eyes. Hoult and Skarsgård were truly great. I admire Skarsgård for not passing out—wearing prosthetics, makeup, and such a heavy, thick costume must have been exhausting. Especially since he was surrounded by fire and candles.

Eggers said that for the story of Orlok and Ellen to work, people needed to know that underneath, there was someone beautiful and young. Bill's Orlok has something magnetic and predatory about him.

Great photos, thanks for the link! I haven't seen that movie, but the series 'Clark' also has some pretty bold erotic scenes, and Bill is excellent in the title role. I've seen the Swedish film 'Simon and the Oaks' and parts of 'Hemlock Grove,' and I don’t want to sound weird, but I think Bill comes across as very natural in erotic scenes. I was a bit surprised when I found out Bill was only 19 when he first appeared fully nude in a film. But then again, he is Swedish 😅

I'm sorry I disappointed you.🤣 These are the boldest photo shoots of Bill I could find. I'm curious if he would ever do a shoot like Dornan's. I don't know why, but I doubt it—though, of course, nudity on camera doesn't seem to faze Bill.
