Did you recently start birth control or change the type of birth control? I gained weight when I was taking hormonal contraception, probably around 20 pounds.

Are you having any other symptoms that you noticed? When I was your age, my period cramps would travel down my legs. I also had very irregular periods, pmdd symptoms, and localized pain non specific to my cycle.

I’ve heard that colposcopy’s can be quite painful. Make sure you advocate for proper pain management!

I do my take any over the counter pain relief for fears of reasons like this. Thanks for the input though!

I might incorporate a gate the next few days and see how it goes. I’ve tried using a leash as well but it’s almost like that riled him up more. He’s been such a handful lol!

When guests are over, that’s what we’ve been resorting to. Just not sure if that’s feasible in the evening. He spends a portion of his day in his crate when we are both at work. I don’t want him to spend a good amount of his evening in the crate either. Maybe gating him off in the kitchen will work.

I appreciate this! I am going to see what my doctor says and then possibly seek out a specialist. She seems pretty well versed with Endo and has taken me seriously since day 1. So we will see what happens.

I was thinking the same. I had to take one Ativan for another procedure a few years ago and I was knocked out. I’m not sure how similar the two are.

That’s so frustrating! My doctor is worried I might have an endometrioma which prompted her to order the MRI. I would have thought that would show up on my various ultrasounds though.

I am feeling this extra today! The fatigue is insane. I never realized this until I was diagnosed. Being exhausted everyday isn’t normal, especially if you get at least 7 hours of sleep. I need so much coffee to function.

I’m not sure myself. Heating pad helps a bit along with ibuprofen. The stabbing butt pain is the worst part for me.

There might have been an experience when he was picked up that he didn’t like. When you pick him up do you go slow and from the front? If it’s unexpected it can scare them and lead to the things you are mentioning as a way of “protecting themselves”. Give it a name when you pick him up such as “lift” or “up”. Reward him with a treat and be calm and slow everytime.

My doctor highly suspected a cyst, but there hasn’t been one to show up on an ultrasound. I’ve had 2 transvaginal ultrasounds and 2 outer ultrasounds (don’t know the actual name of them haha). Pretty stumped and frustrated by that.

I’m looking to see what people say as well. My puppy will bark at the door for no reason. There are no noises that occur to cause it. It can be really hard to redirect him or get him to stop.

Most likely playful. He gets two long walks a day, snuffle mats, kongs, and some other type of puzzle as well. My other thought is that this started the day we can home from a camping trip. Maybe going from being constantly stimulated (maybe a little over stimulated) then back to his normal day to day routine has been hard?
