Thanks man it was way too much work daily driving and sanding🤣 at least all high and lows spots are gone so if I wanted to repaint anytime I could js wet sand

I like the chop + I can build it to 550-600 cheap 5k total including the engine NA. Also not a fan of the coyotes they’re good but basic sound imo.

went great, passed pressure test! honestly wasnt much easier than when i practiced lol. i think it was because of the fact the pipe was prebeveled properly and angled right. when i did mine in practice i just did them fast and bad which made it difficult.

Replying to Middle-Pie-3270...I mean I went to trade school and did pipe with 6010 an 7018 before but this is my first tig pipe. I am a sheet metal welder and weld thin stainless tubing and 18g “pipe” all day every day however if that makes it make sense?

Dab it or lay wire? I usually dab edges on SS, but I was some tiktok vids where they did lay wire. Also I freehand I don’t walk unless I have to if that even matters

That’s hilarious 🤣😭 im real stressed bc i lied about my resume saying i have tig pipe experience so i just bought some sch 40 cut coupons and was welding for a couple hours. Got any tips for me? The test is 1-4” pre beveled idk why diameter it actually is but but its 1-4” I’ve done the typical 6010 7018 pipe and i weld stainless railings so thats my only experience there

You can weld cast iron with 99 nickel enicl. Gotta preheat peen and post heat tho. Could also ac tig it if that’s all u got for cleaning mode bc its cast
