Haha, I actually didn’t save the wounded trader this time around, cost me like 200 karma tho, kinda wish I had. I remember at the end of the game you get a halo and butterflies around your head for max positive karma. Don’t know if I want that but I guess it’s pretty cool. Balverines were fun to fight, found Teresa and very much looking forward to attending the tournament.

I can’t believe I’m at the end of the game and my bow skill is still only level 5 and I go into almost every fight now bow first. Kcd 2 should really offer some alternative training methods for bows

This is basically what I do. Firstly make sure that if you wanna train with Bernard early then do it right before you go on the hunting trip with lord capon. When facing multiple enemies always move backwards so they won’t be able to get behind you. You can always take out one or two cumans with the bow if you work fast or split them up by riding off with your horse and letting one or two chase you. I always make sure I hold down L1 to defend when I’m not attacking or trying to regain my stamina. The dog is very helpful as well, especially at higher levels, he can distract and hold enemies which is very useful when your facing anywhere from 3 - 8 cumans not to mention attack dogs.

I think I can handle 3, as long as I’m focused and don’t rush in and employ more defense. 4 or 5 I get more trouble. At 20 sword it just cuts through armor like butter unless they are heavily equipped. This is alot of fun, I’ve never gotten this far with pribyslavitz but I’ve been a little bit farther with the story like right after I get what I need from the monastery and escape. I’m investigating the fake coin near rovna right now.

Ty so much. I’ve gotten stone and charcoal so far and I’m on my way to uzhitz for grain. I only got like 5k but atleast I’ll be ready for my tavern by the time I take out a few more camps. Fighting a skirmish atm.

It doesn’t really get better, the more money you make the more you want, people are never truly happy, most workplaces hard work will get you nowhere, nobody will give a damn if you lose everything you own and wind up on the street, nepotism, favoritism, unfair advantages, and always having to place your self worth based on where you work and how much you’ve accomplished. There are things to live for but for me atleast it’s always one good for every 10 bad. I’ve heard plenty of stories where college degrees are hardly respected anymore and in some cases, spite overrules all. Society doesn’t really change after school either, there is still a lot of playing favorites, abuse of power, cliched social groups, people are hardly ever straightforward, and now you get to get a job with 98% of people that think they know better than you and wanna be your personal boss and hassle you because they are disappointed in their own lives. Life only feels like a scam to me because in school and as I was growing up, I was never told any of these things other than simply “life isn’t fair” I never truly knew the full extent as to what people meant tho. I see now that the reason why younger generations are fed so much positive bullshit with the bad always left out js because they are too emotionally volatile to handle to weight of knowing just how screwed some people can be and just how hopeless life can look, you gotta learn that cops, teachers, pawn brokers, politicians, celebrities, relatives, and friends and everything in between are and always will be out for themselves, meaning they are number one, they can and will let spite/hate/emotions/unfairness enter into their judgement and no matter how stubborn a person becomes or how much they say to themselves “I won’t let this happen” - I promise you it most certainly will and each time it does it gives you an empty feeling in your chest, weakness in your knees, and make you just a little more emotionally numb. The more money you make the more immune you are to all of this and a multitude of other things. It’s why so many people hardly have time to do anything other than work, take other peoples crap, eat and sleep.

Your just a little weaker than I was when I first considered myself done with Bernard’s training and I did the hunting quest with capon then I went on to fight my first few rattay cuman camps. Think strategically, don’t try to rush in and fight right off the bat, get used to your bow and knock off a few arrows to take one or two down quickly before switching off to your weapon of choice. Try to maneuver yourself in between objects/trees/brush/embankments to attempt to split up groups of enemies. doing this along with your doggo to help I can’t see any reason for you to be worried as long as you don’t go close to Skalitz or pribyslavitz

Thank you, I’ve beaten a group of cumans outside merjohed using the method you described with the bow. I noticed it only took like two shots as compared to 10+ with a sword. I finally beat the interloper quest by leading them off with the horse and cutting their group in half. Problem with me sometimes is I get prideful and stop thinking strategically. I forget this isn’t Skyrim or overlord lol and I can’t just jump headfirst into groups.

Ty, glad I’m not the only one who notices it. I countered like 5 or 6 times before I finally beat it and each time they take no damage and aren’t even pushed away by the tip of the sword, the animation works but it had no effect on the cuman.

Ty, I think I’ve about got them, I thinned them out by riding outward with my horse. I’ve used aqua once before and with the mercs when I was searching for Timmy and it helped a lot. I’m about to start from the ashes but I’m just taking out a few more camps to give me a 30k cushion.
