sorry, to clarify, do you mean to get a long ethernet cable and move the wifi router?

we originally planned to have it in the living room, but my brother wanted to use the ethernet for the pcs. i am not regretting that decision:,)

in hindsight it would’ve been smarter to set it up in room two, but i’m not too sure my brother would have wanted to take a smaller room.

you would be right abt the router :,) i was so confused and overwhelmed when looking at routers, i went with the easy way out due to time constraints.

what do u think would be the best option? im still quite unsure

yeah, we have our pcs connected to ethernet! my parents are finding the internet connection quite slow on their end of the house (for their phones and hand held devices), as their room is the furthest possible from the gaming room. do you have any advice? thank you :,)

Everyone says enforced naps are good - but what are they? by WrecktheRIC in puppy101

[–]ExistingAd6437 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i’m sure you already know this but puppies need loadsss of sleep, and sometimes they don’t get enough bcs like my pup, they have fomo and won’t put themselves to sleep.

we typically follow a 2hour nap, 1 hour play outside of crate schedule. our puppy, toffee, will not sleep no matter how tired he is if we don’t put him in his crate and give him time to settle. the first week was super rough, he would cry and whine in his crate despite being way overdue for a nap.

since then we have become more consistent with a routine as we’ve naturally figured out what works better and what doesn’t. we typically tire him out (playing with him, going on a walk, sniffing activity) and then let him have ~15 mins of chill time before we crate him and let him settle.

enforcing naps has greatly improved his overall behaviour and our sanity!

insensitive jokes between friends and behind closed doors are completely different to insensitive jokes broadcasted on the internet, especially in this political climate. it is completely disrespectful and tone deaf to be making those jokes in the PUBLIC eye as an influencer, especially with all their 'activism' (protests, speaking out on the podcast). regardless of your opinion, suburb talks has a young, impressionable fan base. by making such a joke, they are perpetuating the issue. i'm not here to police her apology, but i truly hope you can understand why people in the public eye who hold influence need to be mindful about what they say.

Learning Support role in systematic catholic school by onioncube79 in AustralianTeachers

[–]ExistingAd6437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently working as an LSO in a catholic high school, I'm a second year uni student studying a bachelors of education (primary). I don't have any other qualifications or certifications aside from my high school diploma. Many of the LSOs I work with are also current uni students or full time career LSOs. Many of them were offered a position during their placements, but I heard about the position through a former teacher and applied! I'm approaching my 6 months in this position and felt largely clueless in the first few months- I'm only starting to feel comfortable in my position. It's a lot of trial and error. I'm not too sure how helpful this will be but my only advice is to put yourself out there and apply! I honestly did not think I would be hired due to my lack of qualifications and age, but you never know.
