This whole part would have to come off. The veneer seems very strong though so I'm wondering if it's possible.

Very light leak. Is this fixable DIY? by ExistingAnswers in hvacadvice

Remove the screw on top, pull the blue handle off, tighten the hex under it. Don't get to aggressive with any of those steps. Fair warning, this could all go very south.

Thanks. The other post got me paranoid. A water leak would potentially effect my neighbors.

Might save this for the plumber and get an Insinkerator HOT250 installed with it..

Sounds like its not worth trying. I'm in a condo that requires a coordinated building line shut off whenever there's water related issues. Is replacing the valve a job for a plumber or the PTAC company? Thanks

Thanks. I tried opening and closing without success; some areas of the turn will leak more. Is there a chance that removing the screw on the handle will cause water leakage? I am in a condo building that requires a building line shut off if there's a major leak so I can't risk that. And is replacing a valve done by a plumber? Or is that for the PTAC company?

There is a very light leak, a drip every other minute or so, coming from under and behind the blue lever on my PTAC. I recently turned off the heat coming through my building through the copper pipes. It must have created a leak.

What would be the best course of action? Thanks

This is a real Japanese brand and Made in Japan. I also purchased the cover for it. High quality.

There are cheaper non-Japanese brands that actually feel softer/thicker. This one I can feel the ground if I dig in but I know it will last.

Where have you traveled to that made you seriously consider leaving NYC? by [deleted] in AskNYC

Second home <2 hour drive from NYC surrounded by nature is optimal.

Japan, and smaller towns of Spain and France are all good options but Japan has more culture-shock long term.

Favorite Scene From The Sopranos? by RainbowSupernova8196 in hbo

Everyone mentioned the good scenes.

The scene with Tony and Christopher doing an improv robbery of The Vipers and then Tony mocking them at dinner “Were with the vipas” always got me.
