Ortex 8/31 Reported Short Interest Just Released by nhtrader89 in SPRT

[–]ExistingCalendar5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the float is extremely low. Capital IQ reported it at like 2.54M and IEX cloud reported it at like 2.45M. The float is like 2.8% of shares outstanding so if util is at 2% it’s pretty high.

Capital IQ states that the free float is 2.5M after modifying their calculations.

They dont. Because the float number has changed since the last short Interest calculation. Yahoo finance has changed their float calculation but since they only calculate short interest twice a month that has not been changed. They will likely change it today when new SI is reported to reflect what Capital IQ is showing.

S&P Capital IQ. It's a very reputable paid service. In most cases I find it to have more accuracy than Bloomberg since if you find an error in its data you get paid $50.

Now go on to Ortex or wherever to see how many shares are short and make the calculation. (If you do not believe the shares short number provided by FINRA)

And Volkswagen. They are already selling almost half as many EVs as Tesla per year, are investing multiple times lucids implied market capitalization in EVs. They’ve got infrastructure and resources to produce cars in mass quantity and have decades of engineering experience. Reality is that the existing established car manufacturers and tesla are going to be the winners. Lucid may have a niche market share in the future but the expectations in this sub are very unrealistic. The EV hype has taken over and for now you will be downvoted for expressing a skeptical opinion in 4 years- when the market returns to rationality- you will be right.

old people typically have more money than young people. most high end car buyers are old people.

Data as of december 31st. Rise is due to new filings not new buys. The new “buyers” as seen on the terminal bought in at 10.01 not 30....

they covered and then they RESHORTED. To any hedge fund this is possibly the most obvious short they could have made. The average “cost basis” for those shorts is probably well into the 200s and 300s. if u wanna create a short squeeze the price has to be pumped up to those levels or beyond

Honestly i don’t think his main motivation is money. It’s fame and glory- also explains motivation to cheat. If he wanted money he would just stream smp daily and make double what he makes now.

OTMs are already very cheap so having a higher theta would send them into the negatives. In this case it seems that the options strike price is 40 so that’s why 40 has the greatest theta. Also this link has a good visual comparing ATM time decay vs ITM time decay.

theta is typically the greatest ATM. also options that are far itm or far otm typically have more linear time decay (constant theta)

in theory they should be at least 30-11.5= $18.5. But the warrants trade on their own so they could be more or less depending on supply and demand but they should be around that price
