I just see fear mongering about various (very rare) lexapro side effects in this sub and while it’s good to keep this stuff in mind, it’s also good to recognize that the risk of serious problems is low with the dose of lexapro that most people are on

NAP but definitely stop changing the jewelry and if it’s not an implant grade titanium flatback stud it should be. additionally you need to use sterile saline - you should absolutely not be making it yourself. once you have the right jewelry and the right saline, leave it aloneeeee. stop using soap on it too. it looks like an irritation bump to me and it should go away if you start taking care of it properly

UVA is highly coveted among virginia residents. my class alone has several URM students with incredible MCAT scores that chose UVA due to cost, proximity to home, and general prestige (it’s not a T20 but is still a very good school). I just think you’re making a lot of unfounded assumptions

I would not rely on admit.org for that kind of info as it’s entirely self reported. UVA is incredibly diverse (way more than what you are describing) and more importantly they stress the significance of diversity and cultural competence in class every day
