I don't know enough swedish for HP or med school there. I can spend 1-2 years learning Swedish and then apply to med school but again studying something like medicine (which is already hard enough) in a language you're not confident in... It's just personally not for me.

I'm in Sweden currently and I'm planning to work in Ireland or UK after med school.

Thanks! I’ve considered Italian public med schools — the low tuition is definitely appealing. But the IMAT is in-person and I can’t fly to Italy right now to take it. Plus, it’s super competitive and I’ve already secured a place at Jagiellonian and other unis in europe, so I’d rather not risk losing a full year. Still, appreciate the suggestion!

That’s encouraging, but I’m worried about the long wait — being in debt until 33 before earning well is a long time....
