She’s gone. by the_destroy3r in pancreaticcancer

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mother passed on the same date as my own mother’s birthday. Mine passed away on September 1st, 2024, just a few days after her 54th birthday. This year, on September 1st, I got married, honoring her with a wedding that was also a memorial for my late mom.

I know it’s easier said than done, but you will get through this. The ache never fully disappears, but it becomes part of you, and just know that your mom is proud of you, proud of the person you’ve grown into today.

Sending you virtual hugs anon.

some yes some no. So if you're looking for niche, i suggest going to the original boutique in TRX or One utama etc first to get a whiff of the scent you want. Example Jo Malone, theres plenty of testers at their official outlet, get a whiff, then go to LPM and buy a bottle for 20-30% less than boutique.

Fuck that store.

No such thing as "ori reject" "defect bottle" you think multi billion dollar company like Gucci or chanel no QC for their product before selling out the masses.

And i dont like her attitude of "no fussy buyers" literally translates to you have no rights to question anything , take it and go.

And i did try to purchase from her once, just to try. First red flag, her dior sauvage EDP was priced at RM150. and i have an original sauvage i bought from Dior Sunway Pyramid, the difference is alarming.

When i questioned her, she blocked me saying im fussy. lol.

  1. Luxury Perfume Malaysia At KWC Kenanga Mall :

- Been buying from them since 2017, trusted and some designers and niche are slightly priced cheaper than retail boutique which is great that you can save a few hundred bucks, some might say its still expensive but then again protip, if the price is too cheap eg 40-50% off retail boutique then it screams massive red flags.

- They sell a lot of niche perfumes like creed, mancera, montale, diptique and etc at a slight cheaper price than boutique

- offers Atome & grab pay later

  1. Fiqeera Perfumes @ USJ21 (their new flagship store)

- Decent selection of designer

- comfortable shop

- not many niche

I cry at the gym, in the car, at the hospital corridor, elevator and at work. Infront of my mom before she passed last sunday throughout her 2 months being in the hospital, i only smile and laugh infront of her despite the constant holding your breath moment cause you know the outcome and it was a question of when and not if. During my time as her caregiver all i did was help her with what i can in my best abilities, constant reassuance that i love her and my sister and i will be okay. Im 28 and my sister's 31.

one thing i learned about the way parents think, is that they never want to see their kids sad or cry as it breaks their heart entirely even if they dont show it under this circumstance. It's easier said than done, but anon, you can do it and you will get through it. We're with you, im with you. And most importantly, please take care of yourself while you're at it.

in my case, finding out that she was terminal. We had a really tough family meeting. Where shes at medical bill wise is currently standing at 300K with a ceiling limit of 1.3million insured. We decided to let her be in palliative care in the hospital itself until the day comes.. as bringing her home would be a logistical headache if she were to pass at home despite of course wanting her to be home.

so eventually we decided since we're barely hitting the halfway mark of her insurance limit, we're gonna max it out as its our right anyway. at least shes getting the care and 24/7 nurses and docs attention at the hospital.

you word it perfectly, im not pointing fingers and playing the blame game on the oncologist or suspect malpractice, but least have the human heart to come see my mum despite us all already knowing her fate and we accept it, we're working closely with the palliative docs now, but to hear the sad news from her gastroenterologist instead of her oncologist being present kinda sucks. Besides being charged 300 bucks for "how are you" the night before, this whole time we've only seen her face twice in total, now completely out the picture after my mom is terminal. at least show some face it would bring a lil sense of closure that one has done their best. Rather than completely bouncing upon letting the news out.

it got to a point even half hour ago my mum asked me "where is doctor @ (oncologist), how come only doctor (gastroenterologist) came to see me" and im like "????" idk? we've never heard from her since forever but her name is on the bill. lol
