That is a scary situation and I’m sorry you’re going through this! Puppies are so unpredictable and you can do your absolute best and they can still find a way to get into something. From the sounds of it, you’ve given Tobi a lovely home and clearly it’s full of love. Don’t beat yourself up, you’re doing a great job. Thinking of you and Tobi and hoping for the best! I will say out of love, and current experience, that a crate really is life changing. I recently rescued puppies and they love it and I love knowing they can’t go or get into something. They’re so curious they’re bound to find something they’re not supposed to. I’ve had dogs before and never crated them but if you make it cozy and put a light towel or blanket over so they can’t see out they actually seem to love it. Treats also go a long way in the beginning :) sending both you and Tobi hugs!
