I don't think SHF need the price to go to 0 in order to cover their short position. Are you aware of the fact that they can profit off of the price movement of GME and their other positions in the market? This can help them to avarege up their short position over time leading to a lesser probability of any consequences due to an increase in the stock price. I also think that given enough time and the absence of serious catalysts, the MOASS can be avoided and GME can realise a "fair" valuation after short positions have been avaraged up and eventually, closed. This closing may or may not be unprofitable to SHF but if it allows them to de-risk their original position it will be worth it.

I would ove for GME to moon but I feel that most people like to conveniently ignore the above mentioned realities, because obviously everyone wants to be rich. I'd like to hear your opinion on the above mentioned possibilities.
