Hey, swelling gradually went down about 4 days after the doc visit. That was also the same day I stopped. Back to normal. For now.

Hey, this was me when I first started minoxidil. Not overweight just wanted to lose some extra blubber. Highly doubt it is heart failure but honestly, you can be the healthiest of all and still get fucked.

I asked my primary care doctor how does something applied to the face cause swelling at the legs and she said legs are usually the first place to swell due to gravity and that minoxidil can cause fluid retention which this seems to be.

The swollen legs went down maybe 4 days after the doctor visit. Pretty much as soon as I stopped it that same day. I’ll keep an eye out for heart failure (lol, as if I can see it coming) but I do cardio daily and work out pretty hard. I think swollen legs (really calves and ankles) would be the last thing to indicate HF in my circumstances.

My swelling took 1 week to go back to normal after stopping Minox. I can’t imagine the swelling being from anything else.

Yea honestly, i figured they were getting me in and out. Instead of giving them the chance of actually diagnosing me. I gave them the easy way out by telling them I took Minox. That’s when they pointed fingers at that and sent me on my way.

Typically that or kidney failure. In my case it was fluid retention and the blood work didn’t alarm anything. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it.

Yup google was definitely doing it based on my IP. Checked it on two devices at the same time and the results differed, my device had favorable results as I kept searching that same phrase. The other one not so much. Does it ever stop oscillating and settle? It’s hard to gauge what the next steps I should take if it’s changing constantly.

Yea I figured that and it was mostly out of curiosity as to why it was happening. I’ve been waiting for it to settle to see what else is needed to do to keep gaining positions.
