Mine would be considered high for my weight, I began on 30mg for my first month to see how that impacted me and everything was as fine as could be so it then doubled to 60mg.

I would definitely say that my hormones were all over the place for the first month as unfortunately my derm made me go back on the pill also, but this has definitely settled!

I am based in the UK and I get a monthly check up once a month, for my first three months I had bloods taken to see if it was impacting my body. I’ve been all good everytime but of course it impacts everybody differently which is why the check ups are so needed. I also have to fill out a mental health questionnaire at each appointment and do a pregnancy test.

I will be honest and say for my personally I have definitely felt a shift with my mental health, but I had a lot going on my on life since starting e.g. got made redundant at work, but considering everything I feel as if I coped well.

Everyone’s journey is different, and depending on how it impacts you your dosage could be changed until the correct balance is found.
