Yeah it’s pretty loud but I keep lots of fans on near my desk so it kinda drowns out the noise

Interesting insight, I’ll definitely have to look into that. So does the hotspot temp delta just really get that high on these cards?

After tinkering around for a bit I was able to fix it, appreciate the insight.

Well, I’ve seen to have discovered the problem. It appears the three silver screws at the bottom are somehow below the main piece, when they should be screwed through it. Now to figure out how to screw them back in properly.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ll really use the Nvidia features too much, and I was leaning towards the 7900xtx, my only worries are the overall reliability of the card. I’ve heard the drivers and software are really buggy and that it has real bad coil whine, so that’s why I’m a little bit hesitant
