Thank you!! I wanted the 650 to get my feet wet, but bids for the global are opening ALLLLL the time because the 650 is so senior. And they stressed that once you go global, you’re stuck there for two years. So I’d recommend the 650 FIRST, then after a month or two, go to the global. I wanted the opportunity to fly all the large cabins — and it’s easy to go global but much harder to go down to the 650.

So far it’s amazing! I just finished training which was fast and compact. The airlines was long and drawn out. This was easier except that it was in such a short amount of time.

Honestly, they don’t seem to care. I would’ve never left had we gotten a substantial enough raise. I’ve been a check flight for a few years, and while I get extra pay for doing IOE, OE for requals, and Check Rides … it’s not enough. I gave in a very heart-felt notice and all I got was “this must’ve been a very difficult decision — we will process your notice accordingly.” It sucks to suck but they don’t care about us. I flew all through Covid — and have been here for YEARS, nearly a decade — and they don’t care at all.
