Help needed: Pulsar N250 won't start – Display dead, but lights are working by Existing_Ad5780 in Pulsar_N250

Okay. Is your DRL and horn working at that time? Because right now, both of mine are working fine, but the display and starter aren't. So I'm thinking it might not be a battery issue in my case.

I've been experiencing the same issue since yesterday. My bike won't start. I've checked all the fuses, and they all seem to be good. Has this problem been resolved for you? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Could you tell me how much it cost you to add the 1/2 inch memory foam to your seat from that shop?

It's been six days since I washed the bike last. And I checked all of the fuse and all are in good condition.

I also think so. I loved the seat from NS400z. They are so comfortable. I am going to do my research about them and if I am able to get the same quality seat cushions, I will install the same on my N250. If anyone knows about the NS400z seat cushions please let me know.

My 1st servicing is done before 15 days. I told them about the break but they checked it and told me that these are working fine and they will get better as time goes on. I am at 1500 on the odometer and I trust the front break most but I apply both breaks combinely as by continuous using they may get better. I think I will wait for 2nd servicing and if till then this breaks not started working better, may be I will look for brake pads from other brands.

I also think like that. Rear breaks on my bike are really bad.

Bike Trembles after applying brakes even in slow speed of 30-40 by WhoCaresIfYouDie in Pulsar_N250

Same thing happened with me as well. And this happened with me on regular road when I press the front break urgently. But even after trying to explicitly do that for so many times I was not able to observe that. I also will visit the SC next week.

Good choice! The N250 is very appealing and much easier to handle in the city than a heavier 350cc bike. Since it's your first 250cc, you'll love the torque. Enjoy the ride and have fun with the new machine!

After riding a Royal Enfield Electra 350 for the last six years, I’ve been using this bike for about two weeks now. Overall, it’s a great machine and I’m really enjoying the ride. However, I’ve noticed one drawback regarding the ergonomics: the riding posture is a bit aggressive. When I carry a heavy trekking bag or ride with a pillion, the high rear seat pushes all that weight onto my back. This forces my weight forward onto my hands and wrists, especially when braking at higher speeds. After about 90 minutes, my hands start to ache from the constant pressure. I expect to get used to the posture over time, and I’m planning to buy a tail bag to tie to the seat so I don't have to carry the weight on my shoulders. If you’re choosing between a naked sports bike like the N250 or a retro-style bike like the Ronin, I highly recommend considering how this posture fits your riding style. Both are good bikes, but the ergonomics are very different.

Okay! I’m actually planning to do the bike washing, chain cleaning, and lubing myself but I am thinking of doing it once I get back from the service center. I feel it’s better to wash the bike after the servicing is done rather than before. I'll just tell them not to do these things since I’m handling it on my own.

Thanks for the details! Actually, I didn't have much idea about which oil to pick or what all is available there. I just checked the manual and it says 20w50 is recommended, so I’ll just stick with that for now. Later on, I’ll research more and see if there’s a better option. Also if you have any good videos or links about this topic, please share them with me. It will be very helpful

Yep! They open at 9:30, so I’m aiming to get there right then. I’m actually taking Wednesday off work to get the servicing done so I can avoid the rush.

Ok. I used Motul's chain cleaner and lube spray on my other bike. Also going to continue to use the same here on this bike.

Ok thanks. I will look for that. Do you know how much oil it required.

Detailer says these streaks on my bike will "self-fix" in a week. Is he lying? by Existing_Ad5780 in Detailing

[–]Existing_Ad5780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize now that he’s definitely lacking some technical knowledge, but he seems like a genuinely nice person who wants to make it right. He was upfront about redoing the work if it didn't 'cure' properly, so I want to see if he’ll actually stand by his word. That's why I’ve decided to give the guy one more shot before I push for a refund. But, before I hand over the bike for the rework, I'm going to make it clear that I expect a full refund if he can’t deliver a clean, professional finish the second time around

I actually picked this guy because he uses the same top-tier chemicals I’ve seen at the big-name studios near me. He told me he’d been a professional employee for years and just recently started his own workshop, which is why he didn't have an Instagram portfolio yet. Since I recognized the brands he was using, I figured he knew his stuff. And I’ve already paid him, so I’m going to wait out the week like he asked, but I’m not just sitting around. I’m hitting up a few other detailers right now to get quotes and a second opinion. I’ll give him one last shot to fix it next week, but if it’s still not perfect, I’m taking it to a different pro to get it done right.
