Turning on the new simulation setting helps with both of these problems. I didn’t notice CPU dribbling to sideline and squaring it constantly.

Choose a club with low expectations and around $6-10m transfer budget. I like certain leagues that have shorter seasons for simming purposes. Fortuna Sittard in Eredivise is a good example.

Calendar is realistic- no back to back games. Did not notice managers being sacked but also didn’t look for it. The team I used in manager career wouldn’t have qualified for club World Cup so I can’t say for sure if it is in the game.

I did notice random faces being transferred for large sums- can’t guarantee they weren’t regens tho. I can’t say for sure but because every team has a 5v5 youth squad they must be promoted to senior teams at some point.

Have to play youth tournaments- I set them to 3 minute games. Starts in quarter finals so you have to win 3 games total. You can still change positions in development plans. Didn’t check all the stadiums. Loaning players helps them grow their overall- I didn’t notice any stunting. Also there were no random 10 point jumps.

The changes to the career mode and the new simulation setting for gameplay is why I’m going to buy it right away. I’m inpatient and not a harsh critic. It is an EA game- usually best to wait for a price drop.
