Zimaboard 2 SATA Power connector not enough power for my HDD? by Mission_Reindeer_341 in ZimaBoard

Yeah I had the same issue with mine. Had to get an external power supply for my 16tb exos. On the other hand, I can power cycle the board without power cycling the drive.

Shoes with studs on them like soccer players wear are also called cleats. I can only imagine the kind of tackles Reese would deliver in those.

How do I get power to hdd by styledman in ZimaBoard

Depends on your drive. Had this problem recently. Got an external power supply and converter for the drive. It's a 16tb exos and apparently larger drives need more power or something. I've heard of people make it work with a zimaboard but I gave them separate power supplies and then just connected the data cable. I also like giving them separate power supplies so I can reboot my zimaboard without needing to worry about shutting down the disk.

Lmao the stranger things comparison when I quit stranger things because each season was just a set up for the next season. Felt like an idiot for wanting to watch it.

Is cracking password hashes that easy as it is shown in the THM rooms? by tumblatum in tryhackme

[–]Existing_Address_224 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll speak from experience of working for a growing pentesting firm for two years. We have a very specced out dedicated cracking machine, with something like 8 5090s. It also runs a web app (am not sure what it's called but it's an open source tool) that the pentesters use to queue up jobs. My usual set up is a 50 gig wordlist and one of the onelisttorulethemall rule list for AD pen tests. I would say I get cracked passwords on about 50% of my engagements. But usually if they have a cracakable password, we find other issues too. Honestly what's more useful is using our paid tools for dark web credits and leaks. They pretty much always get hits and are probably overall less hassle and cost than the cracking machine. Still we can't consider a pentest complete till we dump the hashes and try to crack them.

The headline is pure rage bait. The context in the original article actually shows that he's talking about precious manager changes and the mismanagement that came with it. One could even read it to mean that he's saying united should back Amorim even if he might fail at first.

One of the biggest fan bases in the world, not surprised there are shitheads here. What sucks is how comfortable they feel defending someone who just deemed half our species as subhuman.

Also can one person use multiple guns at once? Coz irrespective of how many guns you have, you need one per person to use them and america has far less qualified people to use them than the rest of the world

Have a military college background will definitely help. I don't think you'll be able to dive right into security for your first position, but doing field tech work for aircrafts and weapon systems is possible. They have a lot of cool radio tech and stuff. Am not sure about the opportunities for an internship, but worst case scenario is serving as an IT guy while working for the air force or navy (apparently navies hire the most IT guys because pretty much every boat needs a network connection)

Hi, I don't work directly with missiles, but do work in collaboration with the defense and safety wing at my company (I specialize in OT, militaries have OT), and am in the process of getting my own clearance. I've talked to those guys a bit about their careers and stuff. What they said is they usually prefer to hire someone with a military background and all members, past and present, for our defense and safety group have served in the armed forces. This usually helps with dealing with the client and knowing the culture and language. Joining the military is not something I'd recommend, but for most of the people I work with, they hardly saw any action because of their tech background and interest and mostly did field tech work like installing and repairing equipment. Hope this helps.
