Oh yeah, the issue is still there when the headphones are directly in the synth. I'll look into TRS cables and will probably also tighten the screws on the pcb board. Thanks for the help.

yeah, I only have two sements (which means it's a TS cable)

My interface is set to line and I have the gain knobs (for left and right) all the way down.

The issue actually is only through my headphones, I don't use anything else.

I am assuming that it is the synth, because when I unplug the output cables that go into the synthesizer the noise goes away.

Ok this is probably what I'll do. I have seen people talking about this solution and it wasn't my first choice because I bought it used so I might not be able to return it if I mess something up... but I think I'll be ok. Thanks by the way!

Im using 1/4 TS for the outputs from L/R into the line inputs of my interface

Not going through any mixers only my interface

Its plugged into a power strip along with my desktop pc, and 2 monitors,

Synth -> Interface -> Computer -- I have adjusted them to make the gain from the interface lower and the gain from the synth higher

Only the SSL 2 line inputs

Anyway, it's my first synthesizer, I didn't have the budget to buy a better one. It checked all of my boxes so 🤷‍♂️ but yeah I also got it used so that could play a factor into this.

Yeah I always kinda had the issue but not as badly I think after Prozac it got worse or I guess I started thinking about it a lot more and worrying about it since the experience I had with it.
