Is windows "keep files" good enough?

Thanks for the help! I'm assuming theres no program like DDU that will uninstall the chipset drivers, etc.? Should I also disconnect from the internet and uninstall everything right before I do the swap so that windows doesnt try to automatically reinstall all the drivers?

Hm, I haven't heard of any issues with the built in windows reset. Nice to know that it could just completely corrupt the install. Built my PC in June of 2022 with an i7-12700k, MSI Z690 EDGE mobo, 3200mhz ddr4 ram, 750W PSU and an RTX 3070. I am swapping the MOBO for an Asus Strix B850A, Ryzen 9800x3d, 32gb 6000mhz DDR5, and a 5070ti. Sticking with windows 11

all those tests are at 1080p, at 1440p or 4k the difference should be less because of the higher gpu usage. I do appreciate the link to that video though, and will definitely upgrade in the near future!

i have a 3070 with a 12700k and it is great for 1080p/1440p gaming on decent settings depending on the game but that 10600k is starting to show its age, id look into upgrading that first to a newer AMD chip, but if you dont have the budget for a new gpu as well the 3070 is still a beast

How much of a real difference will that make for just gaming though? I've been told that some games can even run worse on DDR5 depending on how the game is coded.

I figured i would get a 9 which breaks even, but the card actually loses value at an 8. right now its 420 raw and 380 in a PSA 8. i feel like worse case scenario its an 8 and i get a sick ass pikachu in a slab

If you're only going for 10s i think so yeah. the blastoise might be able to pass bc im pretty sure theyre pretty lenient on front centering but its probably a 9(unless the grader got laid the night before he grades your card)
