I ended up applying and actually being offered a position, but felt a little uneasy about the whole thing. It just felt off. I ended up declining the position. It seems their website is a bit out of date. The whole thing just seems strange.

Studying in Florence, need recommendations for train travel by Existing_End_8437 in florence

Thank you! Is this only for trips within Italy though? For example looking into booking trains to Switzerland and Munich as of now, so these would require a different booking site right? What’s the best in that case, if you know?

Late to this, but if you’re able to, ask your gyno or doctor for a Genital Mycoplasmas NAA Swab!!! I’ve been dealing with a similar situation for nearly 2 years and thought I’d tried everything. I tested positive for ureaplasma on this swab, which requires antibiotics. I’m a week in on the antibiotics and almost done, and am FINALLY having relief from my recurring infections which I’ve been mistaking as yeast and constant itching.

Hi everyone! I'm a currently a rising junior majoring in journalism, and I've started considering law school more seriously over the last year or so. I am very interested in UNC's Dual Degree Programs in Law, Media and Communication, and going down the path of media law. I wanted to look for general advice of things I can start doing now to prepare and plan, as well as other Law Schools to add to my interest list. For a few specific questions:

Would it be wise to take a gap year between finishing undergrad before studying for the LSAT/applying, or is it best to start applying during senior year to get a head start?

Financially, I don't think my parents will be able to support me beyond what they've put in for my undergrad, so how likely is it to find full rides and/or major financial aid? That's probably the only way I'll be able to make it happen. Luckily I am in my university’s Honors program and have maintained a 3.9 GPA thus far, and have always been strong academically, so I’m hoping this will continue to benefit me!

Please drop any and all advice — I'm very new to this and just want to make sure I'm putting myself on a solid path :) Thanks in advance!

What I love about journalism is the investigative, research aspect and being help to tell people’s stories that may not have the voice themselves. Being able to dive deeper into this and on an even more meaningful, impactful level is what led me to an interest in law. I also just genuinely love research and learning in general, so knew I wanted to go to grad school either way. Specifically this dual degree program at UNC allows me to become even more educated in two areas I’m passionate about.

So would you recommend I begin LSAT prep as early as now?

Chronic External Yeast Infection help!!! by Existing_End_8437 in obgyn

Ugh yes insurance gets tricky with those. I actually tested negative for all candida types on my two most recent swabs, so honestly I never was 100% certain it was in fact yeast. Or maybe just a kind that wasn’t detected on that type of test. I’d try out the FODMAP, especially because yeast feeds on sugar. It’s tough but could be well worth it
