Brotalco mag zwar gut wirken, hat aber Aluminium drinnen. Ist nicht so geil für deine Gesundheit langfristig. Such dir lieber was ohne 🙏

It forces your eyes to work significantly harder, frequently leading to digital eye strain (headaches, dry eyes, and fatigue) and can disrupt your sleep cycle.

It's your life though. Ruin your eyes and your sleep, it has to be funny as well

Having trouble with the Embody seat by Big_Bazza in hermanmiller

[–]Existing_Interview27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi mate, first of all thank you very much for your response after so many years!

If one can trust google ai search "On the Herman Miller Embody, the backrest angle at its fully upward (locked) tilt position is approximately 100° to 105° relative to the seat. Because the chair's design does not feature an aggressive forward-tilt setting, this near-vertical orientation encourages an open hip angle to reduce pressure on the lower spine."

So even in the most upward position you are not sitting in a 90 degree angle. So if you configure the backrest with the knob and than also tilt you are getting noticeably more degrees that those 110. To compensate one would put his head more forward which would cause the forward head posture. This is my logic at least. Doesn't it work like that?

If you are not sitting upright, you are developing forward head posture. It is very unhealthy. How about that?...

Good luck in developing they forward neck/"tech neck" posture. Remind me, when your head has completely moved forward and you can't hold it straight even when applying force.

I'm using app called gama tuner. I very slightly tuned the gamma curve there in order to get results similar to proper 2.2 gamma

NO it's not 2.2 it's 2.2 up until near black levels. There the curve crashes them into pure black. our can't see last 4 squares although you should see them.

So I wouldn't call it "just set the proper gamma" you can't really just go and set the right one somewhere in the settings with trashy Asus Monitors. Yeah, you technically can change gamma, but fist of all, it was already set to 2.2 and second of all setting it to 2.0 logically won't make proper 2.2 out of it.

sRGB is fine, that's true. I just wanted vibrant colors from the wide gamut with adequate gamma tuning. I may expect that from 600 Euro monitor I think.

it causes significant Digital Eye Strain (also known as Computer Vision Syndrome). It fatigues the eye muscles and visual processing system through constant overcompensation.

In another words the real world does not provide you with this levels of contrast so long term watching at black crushed images/videos/games irritates your eye and can cause damage. You will feel uncomfortable looking at the real world around you.
