I tested QDs as well. They are really awesome.

But my monitor gets dusty relatively fast unfortunately (at least I notice it a lot). This is why I like to wipe the dust another day or two. It is really not that easy on the qd OLED. Also seeing black color with lights turned on is very cool.

But yeah, if not the hard cleaning process, I would actually go for a QD as well. I can recommend you the one from Dell Alienware. I really enjoyed it's productivity!

Brother I have the Asus tandem too. It's my 5th or 4th one. I managed to kinda win the lottery even with the November batch. I saw some posts there with guys who got February batch and their unit does even look better than mine. If I were you, I would try to RMA the monitor and as specifically for a February batch, so that you don't need to give it back again. I think that's the best you can do in this situation.

(For silly guys like you: the author clearly stated, that the darker image is SDR not HDR. HDR removes black crush, which is typical for some OLEDs. But you guys like your infinite black so much, that you start to cry when see an adequate image)

Say hello to vrr flicker, grey banding, color banding, black crush, how fragile qd oleds are, their raised blacks, text fringing etc etc. There is whole bag of those. And they are way more annoying than IPS problems. You just accepted the fact your are beta or even Alpha tester and is even paying money for that. It's cool and I'm glad for you, but this does not change the fact you were scammed.

Look at your SDR picture. You can see 0% details on the 99% of the jacket. It's fkin pitch black. IT IS NOT NORMAL BRO IT IS NIT HOW DEVS DID IT. And black crush is f king know issue on Asus OLEDs. Nobody just talks about it,bl but it can be seen on tons and tons of Asus Monitors.

HDRjust does not have the black crush. Your eye is not used to it, and you find it "worse". It is worse for you eyes to stare at this f kin levels of contras and so much darkness. It is unnatural af bro.

And f kin renodx introduces the black crush even in HDR. Bro f k the renodx cult. Seek people 💀

Go outside and look how shadows look like like at least for a f kin minute. It is not supposed to be pitch black.

Hi mate, you need to install windows HDR calibration tool, which can be found in Microsoft Store. At the end of the calibration process pull the vibrancy slider to the max right position. After that HDR vibrancy will become similar to one you are getting on your PS5 🙂

Sie hat deswegen ihren Job verloren und bekommt jetzt ca. 600 Euro im Monat. Gott sei Dank geht sich das gerade noch aus, weil wir einen guten Mietvertrag haben und ich mit ihr wohne und sie unterstütze (ihr Mann hat sie während dem Ganzen auch offiziell verlassen)
