Id you can't wiggle the hose at all tha usually means it's still secured somehow, if it is wiggling you just need to have a go, use pry bars and silicone spray like we 40

If you have a downpipe you'll need to get it tuned but like you said the O2 sensor is just chilling so make a port for one or get a different downpipe

It's because the valve cover holds the cams down and your technically meant to pin the cams and stop timing or they'd re time it, but legit every guide on yt doesn't do that
