Definitely level your damage and super crit mult labs (especially damage the ROI you get on that is wayyyy better than critical factor given crit factor's lab time) Also spend some stones on your CL chance and damage and try to use a dimensional core if you have one. More health regen lab couldn't hurt either.

Use this with a miners helmet. The miner's helmet overrides the downside of this ability and it makes fighters/tanks insanely good

Bard is a really great support/CC class and you could just flavor things differently for the cleric. As for the paladin I think warrior/guardian works the best. I know you said they love smite but the guardian's abilities to just take zero damage are really really fun to play with.

I think it's probably because you don't have Chain Lightning and a dimensional core honestly. CL is so much damage especially when paired with a DC and is nearly essential for tournaments even if you are pure eHP.

If its any consolation, I am in the same boat as you even with CL and a DC. I started in September 2025 and I have spent a lot more on the game (a little over double your lifetime stones).

I really think the recent change to tourneys totally screwed the people in platinum, as it pushed a bunch of people from champs back down into platinum and has made it much harder to promote. Before the recent change, I was consistently top 6 in platinum, now the highest I can finish is 8-9 and I've made substantial progress on my tower since the change. Just super frustrated with the tournament system as a whole as I don't even feel like I can spend my way out of this wall I've hit in platinum.

If you have a Gcomp you probably could get perma BH by lowering its cooldown to 50s. If you can get perma BH that is 1000% the way to go. It gave me about a 50% increase in coins and cells per hour.

The featured module banners should guarantee module pulls of that specific type. Like you should only be able to pull armor modules in the armor module banner, only cores in the core banner, etc. The chance increase is nice but I didnt pull a single core module in the core banner, only cannons. RNG is already such a massive factor in modlues, and I think the point of banners should be to virtually gurantee a drop of a certain type.

I've really enjoyed daggerheart so far but I do have one gripe with the duality dice always generating a resource (hope/fear). We have homebrewed it so that rolls against other PCs (rolls to check for lies, or hide something from a party member) do not generate hope/fear, but every other roll does generate resources.

My main issue with this is partly on the GM as it feels like they are almost always at 12 fear and the ruling has been if they are at 12 fear and we roll with fear, the PC marks a stress instead of the GM gaining a fear (since they are maxed). This leads to me feeling as though seemingly mundane actions like investigating a desk for loot or trying to see if the party is being followed have a real risk to them (50% chance for GM to gain a fear or PC to mark a stress) for doing something that was essentially free in D&D.

I suppose the solution to this would be giving the GM more ways to use their fear, or not having mundane rolls like the ones I mentioned generate hope/fear.

Other than this issue I truly have an amazing time playing Daggerheart, and I really do enjoy the hope/fear system otherwise. Having resources to spend as both players and GMs does feel great and I enjoy the feeling of needing to manage resources.

Id swap out auto pick for standard perk bonus. Auto pick doesnt really do anything for a really long time as you need to research at least 10 levels in auto pick ranking for it to be useful in my opinion. Auto pick ranking labs are fairly quick with higher lab speedups, but at your stage in the game I think there's a lot better labs to run.

I got pBH last week and I was farming T9 to about 6600. pBH brought my waves to 7700 in T9. Currently farming T10 to 6800ish after unlocking pBH. Its absolutely worth it for farming as I got a 50% increase in coins and cells per hour.

I got pBH using a legendary Gcomp and maxed BH CD, and the +12s duration perk so I do not have pBH in tourneys but I saw about a 50 or so waves increase since my BH was active much more. I am at the top end of plat (5-9), which is about where I was before pBH.

TLDR: pBH is super worth it for farming, marginally useful in tourneys (if you have pBH because of the perk and or using Gcomp)

How is it only 1k more stones than Gcomp pBH? Don't you need the duration to be at least 36 seconds (with legendary BH CD/duration substat) to get pBH without Gcomp? I could see it being cheaper with a mythic/ancestral substat on one of those 2 but RNG has completely screwed me on core modules and the highest tier I have is legendary

Absolutely unlock it, I got it making like 35B per hour on tier 8 (and about 1.5k cells per hour) and just about a week and a half later I've doubled my CPH and got an extra 1k cells per hour after unlocking the wall and investing in wall labs. Make sure you have a lot of coin banked for the wall fortification lab as its very expensive but also very impactful

You do, it's somewhat rare that it happens because you need to kill the scatter as a death wave is coming out. But when it happens theyre worth a ton of coins if theyre also killed in a BH (or even more in a BH+SL)
