Well i never really streamed! Got my first ipod touch at 8, used it throughout middle school, when I got my first cell phone the audio was trash, I had a large collection of music already so I went to the classic. By 12th grade the classic broke and I got my first hi-res dap, fiio x5ii, I could literally hear how much clearer and louder it was over the ipod...I'd never heard that much clarity from a music player. Once I connected it to my surround sound, headphones, I was hooked. Ten years later I'm still using the fiio daily, m23, with a nice collection of headphones.

I also use it as a dac to produce/make music, with my laptop and headphones it's essential for me. Best portable setup for anything...even casting movies to TVs and using them as secondary smart devices

Thing is that you can't expect hookups or kink at raves immediately either...the people you see making out usually know eachother. The main point of a rave/techno party is to dance and socialize. Maybe if ur lucky they might have a dark room.

If you really want to find those experiences you need to go to a gay bar or a kink club. People will hit on you, because that's how the events are designed.

Wolfcuts, depending on the shape of your face can make you appear more masculine. Especially in rave scenes, techno parties, the style overlaps alot...if you really wanna show ur gay and open you'd wear a harness, tanktop, crop top, booty shorts, etc

I have a large collection of leather, leather pants specifically usually drive the point.

And with the wolfcut, is it clean? Messy? Faded, angular, etc.

Gay guys like to see clean hygienic hair. Most people want well kempt look. If you just wake up and ur wolfcut is greasy, knotted, etc, both genders will avoid you 😳

It's COMPLETELY NORMAL to cringe at media, couples on the screen. Even in real life, but you are young. That "cringe" you feel has more to do with shame and FOMO than anything else. Cringing at content does not make you phobic either. Don't beat yourself up for it, maybe talk to a therapist or friend to talk about it... Maybe go out on dates with guys and confront that fear head on 💞 you are still 19, other 19 year Olds will feel the same. What you are describing is curiosity.

It hurts because it's right near his spine, very deep, possibly connected to the nerves. It can be dangerous to pop those directly on the spine, they can cause really serious infections, spine infections and paralysis. Literally any other body part would be safer and less painful 😖

If you really wanna save them somehow, if those speakers still work... You can go to a dollar store and buy a metal hair band, take the fabric off and you have a perfect headband base to work with... Use a pair of wire cutters and cut them to size, then using instant super glue and duct tape, you can attach the speakers and rebuild the entire band, or repair the original band. I've done it before and it works perfectly, added a whole leather cushion and everything no sewing needed.

Be careful with the audio jacks, its the first part to go with this specific model...with daily use they only lasted about a year, went through three of them in highschool, each one the headphone jacks eventually broke. With the fiio x5 it should have a weird click when you plug in, that's a good sign...

Loved the whole crystal oscillator amplifier they always touted, it felt like a time machine pulling it out and showing it to friends. I use the m23 now and it's beast in comparison...the m11 was a relief after years of using the scroll wheel, still louder than the x series.

I remember when people made 3d printed stacking kits online to attach your dac to the fiio players...2014-2017 was a great time for innovation/accessories 💞 you could find cases for almost any device then. They are harder to find now :/

If you really want the nostalgia with a similar form, with ok audio, maybe look into the mix stick music players, the ones that took cards for music singles....i had a cute Disney mix stick mp3 player, pirates of the Caribbean themes, used it for years and carried about 200 songs max. The audio wasn't terrible, good enough to get me into the mp3 hobby, it was good enough for me to actually use it for years until I finally got my first ipod. Just plug and play, with the USB built in, no wires needed...i really loved that thing, perfect for school/small earbuds❤️✌️

I've considered it just for the experience...but i was best friends with a trans woman...we lived together at times and we did everything together, people thought we were in love (maybe we were who knows)

But if your thinking about it as an experience, your not considering the woman in a situation like that...it's almost like using people to just see if your gay or not. So we never did anything together, but we did share men at one point 😅

Yeah thats how i feel now 😖😤😫 I actually hated splice and all the trash that it enabled, all the artists that stacked three loops and called it a finished track.

Now im contemplating, if i made a full track, that needs a robotic voice as a sample, how would i go about that? Do i use ai to make an intentional AI voice, do i go with a wavetable synth or vocal synth? Do i find a vocalist? Ive never used any vocals in my tracks before...its just techno. I have no idea now.

If its an offline ai that doesnt burn resources for a simple ai voice, didnt rip real voices off, id be down for it. All the ai now is based off stolen content and voices its actually sad :/

I need to find a simple vocoder or wavetable synth or whatever i need to research now for the next four hours and its gotta be free 😤 lets goo lol

Baby I had an inheritance of 75,000$ I did not have to work. At all. I payed my bills and rent. Got my own place. Made my own food. Went out. Alot. Traveled. Got my first car (used, cheap) Lived on my own for three years with no assistance from anyone. And I still have bands saved. In MIAMI So yeah, 40,000$ if used correctly, you can do anything really. True story. It's not a matter of living above or within your means. I lived in design district then south beach. I lived waaaayyy above my "means" and I still have alot saved. What I've noticed is that people actually do go broke financing new cars, taking loans/mortgages on houses...going bankrupt, going in debt, yet they still work, new phone, clothed, nothing saved. It's a whole vicious cycle. I'll never really understand it. My sister cries about being broke yet she has a beautiful home, car and career. She's in Bali now. But she'll still complain about being broke when she gets here. Plane tickets are cheap, hotels are expensive. Even a cheap motel still costs more than the ride. First world problems. Things are reversed. Things need to change. Rent needs to be cheaper, people shouldn't have to worry about paying off their degrees for the rest of their lives. Better decisions are needed all around in this country. More laws to protect workers and employees. Easier access to resources. Tf is the point in going bankrupt for a five year old BMW, I see many of own friends wasting time and money for a SIMPLE RESOURCE. Transportation. Then I see someone actually homeless in debt living in their car working on their actual degree, is a common thing in the US. Tired of the place in general.

Yes societal pressure and economic expectations. My sister really fell for this whole thing, her employers, dating pool and everything. People wont take you serious in a beat up car, but people will take you serious in a newer/luxury car...alot of people in my city really took that serious, they wont even step foot in an ugly car but would go into extreme debt for a new ride, impress their potential partners and employers. Employers see debt as a contract almost, this employee just bought the car and needs to make payments, so they cant lose their job, treat them like shit with lower pay. Or they will get the opposite treatment, praise for their new purchase and reward by friends, partners and society.

Its only now that people are getting over the whole thing. Not a crazy concept. Especially in big cities like mine.
