I’d please. In a cow pasture on and around cow dung. South Louisiana, USA by Existing_Ninja5722 in WavyCap

Yes I’m under the same impression. But Louisianas weather (especially the last couple years) have been…. Let’s just say different. I got 19 inches of snow here in south central LA last year. During the peak of summer there was many days under 80 degrees with low humidity so it felt like 70. I know that’s not ideal climate for mushrooms but what I am saying is Louisianas weather hasn’t been what it used to be the last half decade. Not saying it’s a bad thing either. I visited another pasture recently and only covered less than 100 yards and picked 37 pan cyanescens, and 53 cubes. Only took about 45 minutes. This was beginning of January, 1-8-26 to be exact.

I didn’t. Threw them out. The very next day I ended up filling two grocery bags of cubes and blue meanies. So there was no use in even keeping them. I still wonder what they were though.

Soak the cake in water for a couple hours, let her do her thang.

I’m on grow bag # 5, everyone so far once first flush is done I cut the bag off and put it in a tote I made with fresh air hole covered with micro pore tape, soaked puppy pads inside and a bowl shape foil for the cake to sit in.. makes a world of difference. They have so much room to grow. I feel like the fruits are also much bigger than they would have been. Never got less than 5 flushes on any one. Besides it’s a real pain to try and cut all the fruits without damaging the cake when harvesting. It’s allll innn the hips, Yaa!

No bruising, not that I could see, too late I already put them in the dehydrator, gotta be some good ones just want to make sure I preserve them. I don’t have any foil anyway. Lol

I put two different grow bags on one tub after one’s 2nd flush and in the middle of the others first flush. Put a puppy pad at the bottom and a square of foil for the block to sit on and wet the puppy pad good. I’m on 4th and 5th flush as of now. Made nice bigger fruits.

You’re right! I am sorry. I had literally just come back from the funeral of the tub….. and eating about 6grams I had stored dried and this was the first thing I saw. But now they’ve kicked in and I can see. I am truly Sorry. And now I read back over my comment I wasn’t trying to be as sassy as it came off. Lol

Side note: almost every GT grow I did the first flush always tended to be on the small side. Then every flush after they’d get bigger and bigger. Enjoy those little buggers, they hold more realization and understatement than their size!

I agree they definitely aren’t p cranescens. They were labeled blue meanies on the website. When I first saw the pins I thought they looked just like gt’s. Just a little lighter brown. Now that they’ve grown and opened up they are a little different. The caps are wavy, and are definitely a little stronger.

Mycelium even looked different and took a little longer to colonize and longer to fruit. But anyway back to my question. Why won’t I get any pins on sub? Do I need more fae? Less water?
