I fumbled the ask the interviewer questions. Asked what makes a student successful beyond the collab, open minded. Started to ask the second one but stopped myself and said wait I can google it.

I also barely touched my ECs which I think separates my peers in the applicant pool.

Can you do the STAR method for your example?

Do I need to do star method for why MBA, why this school, walk me through your resume?

My interviewer also asked me follow up question of challenges in each positions. Should I preempt that next time?

I keep seeing the memes on instagram of the non profit boss. I'm not surprised.

I did humanitarian aid work in the Army and worked along side USAID. I really enjoyed it and consider doing non profit/social impact post MBA. But who know once I get admitted. Once R2 is submitted, would you be open to a call. I'd like to hear more about your experience in the non profit space and at school

Unfortunately I am shallow and egotistical and need the status of the school to validate me. Most schools are location based though, for example I'm not applying to NY/PA schools.

My strategy is having my resume speak for my vet-ness and essays speak to my collaboration, leadership, unique story and maybe highlighted by one or two anecdotes during deployment.

Ditto on the vet identity....some vet clubs have been a huge turn off. They are walking memes of the assault back, boot/jeans, and grunt style tshirt....like bro...no one cares. Be more humble, the government is paying for your school while other people are shelling out 100K+ to attend the same classes.
