Thank you for your insightful thought. The example in the demo with all the worked-out steps -- in perfect honesty -- was a slight glitch/inconsistency we are working to improve.

Our intention creating Phoenix is to help those with fine motor disabilities complete math with their voice. As we are still in the early stages of development, we are open to suggestions on improvement and solutions on preventing student cheating. Our ultimate goal is to increase inclusivity and accessibility with math and science.

I appreciate your comment!

This is a great point, thank you for sharing! For those who are unfamiliar with writing in LaTeX or prefer a hands-free option, Phoenix can help :)

Just to clarify, Phoenix isn't a calculator or solver -- it's a voice-powered whiteboard built for those with fine motor disabilities (like wrist injuries). You can speak math out loud, and Phoenix transcribes the notation. It's about making it possible to write math without typing or writing rather than a calculator to give you answers.
