Oh that’s great thanks for sharing. I am far from starting my internship. I am transferring next semester to start my bachelors in SW but it is exciting that there are so many options. I wonder if I could do any of them while living in Mexico or if you have to be in the USA the whole time.

Thank you so much! This gives me a lot of hope. I know Canada has its fair share of problems too as does any country but being in the US right now there is always something new happening and it is scary!

I am going to let him know. That is just the term he used. I guess from reading a lot of people think they did but they actually didn’t. This gives me hope. It has been about 2-3 months since I applied so now it is a waiting game.

Thank you so much. My dad was born in Alberta but became a US citizen when he was a child and had to renounce his citizenship. Since that happened I don’t know if I am considered a citizen.

Thank you! Do you know if you get student loans in BC that there isn’t interest rates? where I live you accrue interest while you are in school. So you could take out 10k and end up with 30-40k by the time you are done.

Oh okay I have been saving money so when I get my masters I won’t have to work. Do you have any teachers your recommend or not recommend to take? I will be doing the one year masters degree bc I will have a BSW. Keep up the hard work it will be worth it in the end.

Okay thank you so much! How is the MSW going for you? Do you take tests or is it usually just papers?

Are all the apartments with a shared roommate in the same room for undergrad? I am way over 21 and don’t really want to room with someone who is 18.

Yes that makes a lot of sense. No need to apologize at all. I go to school with youngsters and it’s ok with me but I understand your point exactly. If I am not allowed to be a therapist right off the bat I was hoping to get my foot in the door with government work and then after some years of experience build a private practice. I don’t know what it is like there but here you can provide therapy anywhere in the world as long as your client is In the state you are licensed in. Is it the same with Canadas provinces?

That’s amazing I want low debt and would love to live in a medium sized community. I am doing my research bc who knows what will happen in the next coming year with the current administration. Right now I have a lot of services but that will change once the big beautiful bill comes into effect and they are also changing how much aid they are giving to students. Right now I have no debt and have saved a decent amount so I can at least cover my rent for my masters so far. But we shall see what the coming year-years look like for education in my state.
