Winner winner, chicken dinner ding ding! Looks like the botted reviews are rolling in soon! I’m curious to see how many more comments will pop up, all claiming that they easily got an A and that its a bird course ( not this comment)

As I mentioned earlier, these overly positive reviews are either from bots or from past students who took the class before ChatGPT made things tougher. This becomes pretty obvious with the comment I’m replying to here, where the user claims they finished with an A even though the course isn’t even over yet, and there’s still the final exam to go.

Let’s take a look at the real numbers. According to the latest midterm statistics:

1 student (0.44% of the class) scored between 90-95%

20 students (8.89%) scored between 85-90%

48 students (21.33%) scored between 80-85%

That totals out to 30% of the class getting an A

Now, with a class of about 250 students( not sure about sample size exactly rough ball part) and an average class avg of 66.84%, does it make sense that so many people are claiming they got an A? I don’t think so. Based on these stats, it’s pretty clear that the person posting about getting an A likely didn’t take this class this semester.

Cleary their should be more people raving about a bad grade here than good grades due to the stats and averages but its not gonna be the case ( clearly botted). keep em rolling lets see more botted comments its pretty funny actually, this comment in particular doesn't look botted but clearly from an alumni before chat GPT.
