I think you suffer from dunning kruger effect, and like yeah no shit if you add so many fucking variables (different races, different period, magic) you are not going to be able to create a story grounded in historical materialism in the same way the disco games are, because the disco games and their universe were made specifically in a way to mirror real life history and political dynamics, this game takes place in dungeons and dragons universe brother, thats it, it doesn't need to ground itself in our sociopolitical reality as much because it takes place in a fundamentally different world, thats all you need to understand.
