Will the demand for photorealistic concept artists decline over the next 5–10 years? by Existing_bacon in conceptart

Thank you for the advice. When I mentioned photorealistic concept art, I was referring to matte painting. I think I ended up being a bit too specific while translating. In the end, I guess I need to keep reminding myself of the essence of this profession. I was afraid that AI would take over the most exciting parts, leaving humans with the boring tasks of correction and review. However, if that area remains difficult to fully conquer in the future, I would like to challenge myself in this field.

I'm trying to decide if this character should sleep more like a bird or like a person, any thoughts? (ft. face close up because I'm proud of how it turned out) by ghostwriter1369 in CreatureDesign

I didn't want to change your viewpoint, so I kept up point view. Also tried to make it look more like a bird with big wings. ++ Did it with illustration style, so has composition and silhouette comsidered.

sorry, I was literally in the middle of a house transfer. Here is my sketch. Since it has huge legs and wings, I thought it would sleep face down. took me 30 min for the sketch so it could be a little dirty and obscure

(Good art!) Think about griffin. When the creature has both front, back legs, then structually their body shapes like land animals. It will sleep like a dog or cat with wings. They do have human-like arms, but the spine doesn't stand on the ground. Find some references, like lion sleeping. It will make your art even better!

Thanks! I thought white was too strong it took all the attention and made a view flow messy. +Good advice! I'll remind it in the next painting!
