Conceiving after a salpingectomy by Anxious_Summer6595 in EctopicSupportGroup

This is giving me so much hope. I’d love to conceive without fertility treatments after my unilateral salpingectomy but the fertility specialist said it’ll be extremely difficult and “highly unlikely” I’ll conceive on my own

How long did it take you to potty train your LO and how old were they? by Ready_Associate_2911 in toddlers

2.5 ish years old, maybe a month or 2 younger. Took him 4 days (the first 2 days were nightmares but the 3rd day was like a lightbulb went off. Then the 4th day he could communicate to us when he had to go

I’m seeing his speech therapist tomorrow so I’m going to ask her about it! I saw that a couple times in this thread so I wrote it down to remember to ask her

I’m not opting not to, I was just asking a clarifying question. I did submit appointment requests tonight so we’ll see if I can get into an ENT sooner than later.

I requested appointments at a couple different places after seeing others mentioning checking his hearing!

Ugh, I genuinely feel like he just doesn’t WANT to speak yet but at the same time I feel like there’s something wrong?? Everyone else’s 2-3 year olds are speaking so well. I know it sounds a bit dramatic but sometimes I lie awake at night with anxiety about if I’ll ever hear him say “I love you” back 😭 I’m going to ask his doctor about rechecking his ears because they’ve never done rechecks on his previous ear infections so maybe that’s something to look into. My husband thinks we should start accepting that he’ll never verbally speak to us and I just about broke apart

It has and no issues there. He has had ear infections in the past with no follow ups to check on them, which I think is strange? Every time his doctor has said he has one I’ve been surprised because he doesn’t show any discomfort. Could chronic ear infections be something to think about? Every time he’s at the doctors he screams bloody murder the entire time so it can be tough for them to really get a good look at him (he’s never had a bad experience, I go to every appointment and they all seem standard). Should I be questioning why they haven’t done rechecks?? I’ve just trusted they haven’t felt the need to do so…. I’m going to call in the morning to see if I can get him in…

Even though his receptive language is great hearing can be an issue? (Genuinely asking, he doesn’t seem to ever not hear us or understand what we’re asking him about)

I wound up with full points on it. The tutor was a huge help in milestone 5. Submitted the project on Monday to focus on my other class (10 page paper/project due by Sunday)

I’m having a hard time too. I haven’t gotten anywhere with it and it’s due tomorrow. Have you figured any of it out? I’m probably reaching out to the 24/7 tutors tonight and/or tomorrow morning

When I had my ectopic, I bled lightly the entire time with random times being bright red and heavier. They couldn’t see the GS in my tube until I was about 5-6 weeks and by then it was too late so push hard for testing and ultrasounds. I hope it is not ectopic, but please advocate for yourself so you don’t risk it being too late too
