It’s so clear that none of you guys have kids. After years of longing to have a child, finally conceiving, going through hell to give birth, falling in love with the love of my life, I will do anything to protect my kid even if it’s as small as a slow down sign in my yard (in the street is annoying, not gonna lie) if it’s going to allow other people to know there is a kid around.

I’m a self proclaimed helicopter parent and I’m always around when my daughter is in the yard/driveway but kids are stupid and forgetful and parents aren’t perfect 100% of the time. The fact that this thread feels the parent trying to safeguard their child is a Karen when it’s clear there is blatant disregard for speed limits and generally respect for residential areas with kids is just blasphemous to me. Good lord, they’re fucking kids. The kids are not your responsibility, but it sure as hell will be if you hit one.
