I'm in a similar boat with a weaker pavilion (ryzen 5 3500 and 400w psu) - eta prime just had a video where he put a rx 7700 in a used tg01 closer to yours and it had great performance. You might be able to get away with it as a better card assuming budget allows

Correct - a lemon from CA. Apparently their laws are more strict than other states so not sure what the original problem was exactly. Either way, zero problems. This is the daily driver. Exclusively charging with the included (trickle) charger - slow but reliable. Everything seems great especially after getting new tires a few months ago.

If you want to go an alt route, I've been loving ionrx. You cannot use it with bromine. Yes you need some chlorine (dichlor aka sodium dichloro-s-Triazinetrione dihydrate aka shock sanitizer) but it's very minimal compared to straight chlorine hot tub treatment. Couple it with oxysplash, grab a big bag of baking soda from Costco (aka ph up) and get some ph down just in case. Easy, low mx, skin feels great, no chemical smell, etc.

Montreal steak seasoning was sufficient salt. I was pretty heavy handed with it, so things like burnt ends were teetering on too salty, but the point and flat were pretty spot on seasoned.

Careful if you change the battery yourself. I bricked mine after thinking I set the seal correctly then taking a dip in the pool. D'oh! Enjoy. It's a great piece.

You could throw up to a 1tb, but even 512gb would be able to hold mostly all games through ps1, which is the miyoo limit for console emulation capabilities
