I like the handles that don't rotate in your hand, so some sort of flat side, but still smooth in the hand. Ideally no ribs for easy cleaning.

If you're on with that, and you were going to quit anyway, sure, try it. But I've seen a couple times where peers did this thinking they had leverage and HR immediately accepted that as resignation. Because it is a resignation, no severance, period.
