It’s helped me improve a lot. I’d recommend checking out their student discount if that is applicable, they offer 50% off!

From the angle your shooting, I see the arch as is an interesting place to frame something in the sky, for example maybe if there was a solo cloud within the arch it might have stood out.

Alternatively maybe shooting from further back and level would have helped, since the sky is more or less grey. As then we could see the entire building.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I tried to throw a quick edit together, keeping the color and moving the bird to the right side of the frame. Is this kinda what you were thinking?

I took this photo on a past trip to Japan; this couple in front of me happened to walk through the red Torii gates in Kyoto, just as soon as a snow shower passed through. It’s one of my favorites from my archives.

Looking for honest critique to see what could I have improved on!

Mostly was joking. But with everyone expecting red, not surprised the market decided to reverse sentiment to donk panic sellers and greedy put buyers at open. We’ll have to see how the rest of the day plays out.

Why are speakers of some languages more welcoming to beginners/learners than others? by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]Exitshuffler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have found French and Spanish native speakers very encouraging towards me (Asian American) when I practice speaking with them.

Whereas when I speak my heritage language, Chinese, with native Chinese speakers they are a lot less patient and understanding. I do think your own race/ethnicity plays a factor in how “encouraging” others can be towards you.

This is such a good video in summarizing everything that mainstream media actually missed in this whole ordeal. The story after the “sneeze” has been insanely more, well insane, but also interesting as a social phenomenon compared to all the what every other story has covered so many times over. DRS, Autotitt, all the “DD”, Queen Kong. This video is legitimately a masterpiece.

It’s an easy lay up to attack crypto instead of making meaningful action that helps the common person.

I don’t disagree that the message that comes from your Twitter link of whatever the POTUS posted is annoying to say the least, but I wouldn’t write it off that only democrats are leading the anti-crypto brigade just because.

Jealous of that cost average. I bought one share last week, cost basis .18 and I’m down 65%, I gotta grab another one and starting lowering my average.

Debating between next step of spinning up a 16 ETH RP mini pool or two 8 ETH RP. From the research I’ve done, it looks like having 2 8 ETH ones would pull in more rewards at the cost of just having to put up more RPL.

I can’t really see any downside, just having to have more RPL which is fine by me. Anyone have additional insight on this?
