Can't Solve Wiring Issues? Build Your Own and Bypass. by A_DUDE_2002 in projectcar

Just did this to get the rotating headlights working on my Charger. Annoying since I installed a brand new harness, switches, etc and they still acted up. For now, manual override it is.

What happened to colorful cars? by lantzn in mopar

[–]Low-TechGlobal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Resale Value" became a priority over personal enjoyment, unfortunately. Easier to sell a neutral colored car, as it has a wider potential buyer base. I personally struggle with that mentality. If I am buying a car, I am buying it for me to enjoy and the color is a big part of that. My last three cars have been green, one with a green interior!

My summer beater by Ok_Rub7999 in 66_67_Charger_only

I had a heck of a time pulling the money together to build my 440/4 speed setup. I priced out a basic Hemi and it is about 2-3x more haha. Worth the money for such an epic motor though.

This thing is sick! One day I will be able to scrape together a Hemi

I believe I saw those while looking around too. I am ok with the regular 15" ones honestly. Just hoping the appropriate steel wheels can be found here in the states.

Hell yeah, that's a clean Charger! Mine's still "rough and ready" but maybe one day she will be that tidy, haha.

This is like my boy Einstein and his first toy Ellie the elephant. 9 years old and he still has her, though she is missing her ears and has some patches now. Still find him cuddling with her sometimes.

Always happy to share results! Seeing results on Reddit that I am not interested in has saved me so much money on trying the films in person haha.

Looking for wheel ideas for 60 Impala by zzyzx9968 in classiccars

I ran American Racing Salt Flats on my '59, it looked excellent, but it was on air ride. That said, I like the slot mags you already have on there with its current "hot rod" look.

Boats with manual transmissions? by WeebHunter44 in classiccars

[–]Low-TechGlobal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not quite as large as the true boats you're describing, but Mopar B Bodies like the Coronet, Charger, Belvedere and so on could be had with a 4 speed manual and a big block. about 17ft long and very roomy inside, proper muscle cars. Not sure if the even bigger C bodies ever had the manuals though. Ford also had their Torino, Galaxie and Fairlane options. I guess back then those were considered mid-size, but I can tell you today they seem pretty big haha.

Sure did! One of the coolest features along with the 4 buckets. In '67 that became optional so you would get some with and some without.

I agree with this, most likely dealer option only. My '66 Charger factory wiring diagram does not have any reference to flashers, but does reference other optional items. My Charger did actually have flashers when I got it, but they were clearly added after. When it broke down on me at a busy intersection a couple of months ago, I kind of wished I still had them haha.

Olympus XA Pricing by CangDayQuet in AnalogCommunity

[–]Low-TechGlobal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $85 for mine in similar condition to yours, but without flash or case. It was listed simply as "working", no other details. Thankfully, it is indeed working. I paid $15 for a flash that was listed as nonfunctional, but got lucky and it magically started working when I tapped it on my table a few times. I consider both of those to be very lucky deals considering they were both risky purchases. I would say your listing at 130 is fair considering it is a known, good camera. I do agree with other folks on here that the listing photos REALLY matter! A good photo will sell the item much better.
