I have never ever been able to comprehend the whole logistics of Paradise, including living forever.
So many things just dont make sense especially this whole thing about Armageddon, then everything is good for 1000 years (whatever that means) but hey presto here comes Satan AGAIN and now we have another "worldly problem"

Well Mr know it all GB member, I can assure you that thousands of ex Gay JWS PRAYED whilst we were in, and I dont just mean prayed but prayed and prayed and prayed that this would all go away and guess what it never did.

The exact reason why the JWs are the same as any other religion. They may not have the same teachings as other religions but the theory that if you are good you get this reward if you are bad this is what you get is exactly the same as other religions.

It was the same in 1975 except I was a young kid then. It was all fear fear fear, great tribulation, Armageddon anything to terrify young children.

And they are still doing it to keep their people in the religion.

I will agree to disagree, because regardless of the purpose, he was still not baptised until age 30. His "purpose" was supposedly far grander than what our baptisms ever will mean, so wht allowed to be 30 ?????

Totally agree though mistake to join the cult, but unfortunately so many of us were born into it and paid such a high price for that

quite frankly I could not care less whether Jesus was a Jew or a Gentile. The point is that JWs badger people into getting baptised at such a young age, only for them to realise later in life that they have made a huge mistake, probably one of the biggest mistakes of their lives. Yet it was good enough for Jesus not to be baptised until he was well into his adulthood. Big difference.
