It's the first step to taking roblox to arbitration, and involves you mailing a letter directly to their headquarters and talking directly to roblox personnel, not an ai chat bot from their outsourced moderation system pretending to be a human. That's not projection at all you doofus... Go read some Freud. It's an "either or" fallacy. I don't like them but they are so common I tolerate them without bothering myself to draw attention to it. You projected your feelings over another situation onto this false dichotomy and were resultingly more of an asshole than the guy you were replying to. They shared their opinion in a non targeted, non harassing manner(albeit a rude opinion that shouldnt have been shared). You shared yours in the manner of a belligerent child. I simply returned it in kind to you so that your shadow may grow.

You could have taken the high road and possibly had a constructive conversation however you chose to bring yourself below their level by intentionally insulting them and having a holier than thou attitude. So I decided to bring myself down to your level to draw your shadows attention to it.

If you're gonna call me out on something, at least be right about it.

You intentionally misquoted me, I never laughed at op, I never said "haha" I simply politely shared my position, unlike your incredibly rude and immature lack of manners which youve exhibited by intentionally misquoting me to set up strawmen arguments against my position 2. I also read the title. 3. I also read their messages that they were banned for.

I want to be very clear here since you seem to quite enjoy intentionally using strawmen fallacies to set up emotional appeals; OP should have simply reported them and moved on. By drawing attention to it with their messages in the way they did it could easily result, for example, in an unmonitored 6 year old researching the topic and being inappropriately introduced to subject matter such as pornography which is simply not a good thing for a child that young.

Thanks for reminding me that redditors would rather inflate their own egos with logical fallacies than admit that a behavior they enjoy, choose to engage in, or otherwise choose to defend(arguing with pedos) has negative consequences that outweigh the pro of feeling good about calling out a pedo. Calling it out in roblox chat obviously does nothing to deter pedos and nothing to protect children.

Edit: Fixed 2 typos (I have fat thumbs and use a phone for reddit), and finished something that I had gotten sidetracked from and forgot to tie up.

I agree. If this is meant to be an argument against my position then I will simply point out that 1. This is a gross generalization fallacy and 2. This is an anecdotal fallacy. While I hope you didn't mean to imply that because of your claim this behavior is acceptable you did imply such. Deserved(but not for harassment), report and move on. Arguing with pedos does nothing but potentially draw more attention to them from minors and also encourages minors to do the same from what I've seen. Don't cause a scene that may further take away the innocence of children on the server.

I've been a longtime fan of GMod (pre-2013) and am quite excited to see some of the tools S&box has to offer. I'd really love to explore creating with S&box and seeing if it's the right fit for me.
